In pursuit of expanding local talents to the global stage, vertwo is going to be attending Tokyo Game Show 2021. This opportunity is thanks to vertwo’s membership and involvement in Indonesian Game Association.
The Event
Held annually in September in Japan, Tokyo Game Show is a video game convention where developers and publishers from all over the world showcase their upcoming games and develop business relations with each other. Due to the pandemic situation, this year’s TGS will be held online on September 30 till October 3.
The theme this year is “We’ll always have games, asking where will games go in the future and discussing The Great Change in the game industry. In attending this event, vertwo is hoping to take another step in introducing Indonesia to the future of the game industry. Because vertwo believes that it is not a matter of whether the talents exist, but how to connect these talents to global parties.
Attended by over 600 companies from around the world, this event is a big opportunity for big publishers and indie developers alike. This time around, vertwo will be focusing on bringing local illustrators and artists.
